1998 ford explorer speed senser cam-shaft pulley WERE IS IT LOCATED

Ford did not put a 2.5 in a Ranger, maybe a 2.3 ?

3.0 - The CMP sensor& synchronizer/shaft are located behind the intake manifold (i.e., back near the firewall on a Ranger) on the top of the cylinder block. If you just need to replace the sensor, it is a simple job of unplugging the electrical connector and removing the screws holding the sensor in place. Here is a sketch of the sensor to give you an idea what to look for:

I think what you are looking for is the Speed Sensor which is located near the Transfer case close to where a normal tail shaft housing would be.

that is confuse ask but l can give you an answer l hope to be useful the three speed sensor you looking for are located at the inner side of wheels over the brake supporter

you chould pull plugs and check them because it sounds like it needs a tune up or you have a crank senser or a cam senser going bad because they control the feul presser

Follow the top radiator hose to the engine, it is connected to the thermostat housing, the thermostat is inside that housing.

polarcycle is right but there is a speed sensor on the drivers side top of the trans. toward the tail shaft or transfer case. there is as well a sensor inside the trans. itself that is mounted on the web. behind the overdrive band and drum.

it was a PO 1505 code idles speed control wiring problom broken wire in the wire harnes running great

I believe you need to line up the line with the arrow.
