Need to replace spark plugs in daewoo lanos

You first need to pull the plastic cover off the valve cover (top of motor) you will see 4 plug wires going strait into the top of the engines valve cover, carefully wiggle and twist and pull on each plug boot then use a 3/8" drive 5/8" spark plug socket and a 6" extension to access the spark plugs. Tip: If you leave the rubber gripper inside the plug socket it may be difficult to retrieve socket from new plug.

How to change spark plugs on a 1999 pomtiac sunfire gt

first you take off the 4 bolts that are on the top of the engine. then unplug the wire harness on the right side. after those two things are done first, the pull up on the cover that you just unbolted and the boots should pop off the spark plugs. if a boot stays on the spark plug just pull it off and put it back on the bottom of the cover. take out your old spark plugs, put in the new. then follow the steps in reverse order.

How do change spark plugs on a 1998 xj8

Remove plastic cover over the engine ( three screws).
You then have access to the front three spark plugs (cylinders 1,3,5) remove the nut which holds down the independant coils and remove the spark plugs, fit new spark plugs and fit coils on the three front cylinders.
Now it gets a little tricky, you will only be able to access number 2 back cylinder so you have to remove the induction manifold (12 bolts I think) to access the back three cylinders (2,3,6,) properly.
Then proceed as with the front three spark plugs, refit manifold and plastic cover,

Change sparks plugs on 06 hyundai sonata v6

You didn't specify whether you have the (4) cylinder or the (6) cylinder engine..... I have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L 4 cylinder and I just changed the spark plugs in it. I believe that the 2005 2.4L engine is the same. To locate and change the (4) spark plugs on a 2004 Hyundai 2.4L 4 cylinder engine: Remove the (4) 12mm bolts from the decorative plastic engine cover. Remove plastic cover from engine and place it off to the side out of your way. Standing in front of the car, the (4) spark plugs are located laterally (left to right) in the recessed area underneath where the plastic engine cover was removed. Note: This engine has (2) coils....They are located above spark plugs number (2) and (3) from left to right. Starting with the fist spark plug on the left: Remove the spark plug cable by pulling straight up on the insulated connector. Using a spark plug socket, remove the old spark plug and install a new one in it's place. To access the second spark plug from the left, remove the electrical connector and the spark plug cable wire from coil number (1) and then remove the (2) 12mm bolts that secure the coil to the engine. Spark plug number (2) is located directly under the coil. Lift the coil straight up removing the insulated connector from spark plug number (2). Using a spark plug socket, remove old spark and install a new one in it's place. Repeat same procedures for spark plugs number (3) and (4). Note: If you have the (6) cylinder engine, the front (3) sparks pluge are readilly accessible but in order to access the (3) rear spark plugs, you will have to remove the intake manifold

Dear Angel Divine, First determine whether you have a 4cyl. or V6 engine, then look at the engine bank/banks for the exhaust manifold and then the intake manifold, The plugs will be either be between the 2 manifolds(center of cylinder head) or between the exhaust manifold tubes. Change spark plugs

My 2004 Verona had factory installed "NGK BKUR6ETB" regular spark plugs which I replaced at 30,000 miles. The 2005 model year is supposed to have Iridium spark plugs. To replace the spark plugs: 1. Remove plastic top engine cover. 5 nuts 10mm socket. 2. Unplug connector from each ignition coil. qty 6. 3. remove 2 hold down bolts per ignition coil. 10mm socket. 4. remove ignition coil, lifting straight up. 5. Spark plug is now accessible, use deep well 5/8 spark plug socket to remove.
