this problem happened last week and it was the max air flow sensor and I replaced it and it was fine. Then I went out to try and start it and it started doing the same thing

the car ran fine the other day, like a kitten, and there are NO starter solenoid relays online, anywhere!!!!!!!

Yeah my 95 has the same problem, like when you turn the key it does nothing but then sometimes it will turn over.

A couple people tolds me it was one of the following things but i have not the money to do anything with it, bad connection from my ignition switch to my starter, or just a bad connection somewhere like a corroded wire, also it could jsut be a shotty starter that likes to be a *****. or my battery just isnt grounded properly.

i had the same issue with my 1994 f150 flare side, sometimes it would start and run fine, most times it wouldn't, i was able to fix it by replacing the distributor (the actual distributor, not just the cap). don't know if thats what is wrong with your vehicle, but its worth a shot

Just spent 3 months w/same issues, i.e. intermittant starting on 95 tbird. All indications pointe to a starter solenoid/starter (a combo unit) which was replaced by Ford with rebuilt (new not available). Problem fine for awhile then continued so replaced ignition switch, park/neutral switch, checked all connections/cables/battery, checked for shorts/voltage drop. Finally discovered the "new" starter was intermittently bad. Ford replaced it only upon threat of small claims court. It worked fine on the bench but was not reliable. I suspect a cheap rebuild resulting in 'flat spots" on the armature... Never thought about a bad part and even when I did I had to fight to get it replaced.....

I was driving it died and now wont start at all it turns over but dont start

As with any no start situation, you will need to know if it has spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors, and normal compression.

I was driving when my engine just stoped i tryed to start it but it wont start the engine will turn over but it just wont start

it is possible the points in the distributer cap have failed, or worn. check your spark plugs (you will need 2 people for this) or even just your leads by having one person turn the engine over and the other holding 1 lead (just take one off at a time) against the engine block it should throw a spark and arc to the block ******DONT TOUCH THE SPARK IT HURTS****** if you dont get a spark then it is most likly a distributer problem. Hope thes helps

2000 GMC Jimmy wont start. Seems to crank just fine but wont turn over. Sprayed starting fluid in and it didnt chug or do anything but keep cranking so I dont think it is fuel related. Any suggestions?

check for a spark if no spark and no fuel to feed bar for injectors ,then try spare key if that doesnt work then its dealer only to look at immobilisor

Heeeelp! turns over but wont start. changed gas filter, cap, rotor.

Are you sure it is getting spark to the plugs? Did you check fuel pressure? It still may be getting some fuel but not enough. Is it fuel injected or car berated?

ENGINE TURNS OVER BUT WONT START

It may be the fuel pump, if its not getting gas it won't start. If not that it could be electrical
