SOURCE: Wiring harness diagram

Your question is not clear, 2002 trailblazer has a towing harness, in order to find each wire, use a ohmmeter and try out each application.

In case of male harness of a camper you can test it with 12 volts in each wire looking which light is on and if it is different position cut wires and make similar wiring

I advice you don’t cut into the wiring harness but get the proper kit that is plug and play.

Like all imports wiring was marginal and prone to failure. Check and clean all ground wires. Especially the one that connects the bed to the chassis. If one is not present, install one. Also remove the taillights and clean the contacts, then add a die-electric grease to prevent additional corrosion. Go to the local autoparts store or good central library for additional information on your truck.

There is no fuse for the tail lights , Do the headlamps work ? Power for the tail lights comes from the headlamp switch ! Find yourself a wiring diagram an check the circuit ! You can find a wiring diagram here http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html .Do you own a test light or a volt meter ? Do you know how to read a wiring diagram ? There are alot of videos on youtube on trouble shooting automotive electrical circuits , under standing wiring diagrams etc... Did they just stop working ? Do the stop an turn lamps work ?

Hello, in my Mitsubishi L200 (2004) the circuitbreaker ( no 4) for my tail- and dim lights keeps popping. So I am searching for the wiring diagram to find out what could cause this short circuiting

You may have a shorted light in one of the tail or turn signal assemblies. You can get a wiring diagram, but you will still start there; testing all four corners, all lights and wires behind the plugs, and you will find the culprit. If you have a tow package, try disconnecting the trailer plug. Those go bad and you will spend days tracing nothing !

Tacoma wiring diagram

There is a short in the tail lights. The wiring that powers the tail lights is shorting to the brake light wiring. Should be simple to find. Will be obvious unless it is in the rubber connector under the vehicle that will have to be cut and hard wired in.Check all connectors starting right at the light bulb itself!

Brake lights will not work

You'll have to follow the wiring to find the short to ground. You may need a wiring diagram to know what to look at.
It could be in one of the tail lamp sockets, or in the wiring harness.

Fuse for tail lights keeps blowing

You have a serious short circuit in the wiring to the tail lights. Fuses protect the wiring in your vehicle from catching fire.
You need to trace the tail light wiring from the fuse box to the tail lights to locate the fault/short circuit.
A wiring diagram can help as it shows the colour code of the wires to the tail lights.
This problem can be difficult to trace and you most likely need an auto electrician to fix this problem. It could mean installing a new wire to the tail lights as a quicker fix and bypass the fault..

When I turn on the lights I blow the fuse for the tail lights , dash lights, side lights and horn. I've changed bulbs , disconnected tail lights , traced wire looking for ground, disconnected lighter and it...

You might have a short in the headlight switch itself. I would check the positive side of the taillights to see if they are shorted to ground. Not sure on a manual, besides All-Data.com. You can also purchase it thru Auto Zone.com.

Your question is a bit vague, but the first thing I would check is fuses. If they all are good, then there may be a wiring problem. It could stem from a broken wire, bad ground wire, or from a short circuit. To repair the system will require a wiring diagram, and 12 volt test light or multimeter. Reading the diagram, checking for power where the diagram says it should be and checking for ground where it should be. Note, when using a test light, to check for ground simply place the aligator clip on the positive battery cable instead of cliping it to the negative side or frame grounding.

A test light checking each connector would be faster and easier to do. Maybe somebody may have a illustration for you but by far a simple test light is all you need with a helper turning on the different lights as you check them out and writing all your findings down
