Try closing the doors then hook up jumper cables, let it sit for a couple of minutes with cables hooked up and other vehicle running. Then try to use key to turn off alarm before opening door. Then try to start it.

Try locking and unlocking the drivers door using the key. Usually that will re-set the security system. Also try the rear hatch lock as sometimes that is used instead of driver door.

Cherrokee jeep immobilised, after battery went flat. jumped battery, disconnected battery and reconnected to try to re set alarm, phobb works,on alarm but when key turns no turn over,?

If by turning over you mean that the engine isn't turning when you turn the key, then you have a failure in the starting system. (check battery, connections, relay and starter) If the engine turns but dosen't start, try locking and unlocking the drivers door to re-set the security system.

sounds like the battery is down. You can jump it off and let it charge back up.Your car alarm is knocking it down when it sits too long also your battery is probably weak.loadtest for free at any Autozone
