Water leak on the passenger side

Want to know were the water is coming from

lots of water coming in at the foot of passenger side. It seems to be collecting inside the hood somewhere as I hear a swoosh when I'm driving and up to a litre of water comes out (I've put a container under where it drips). It seems to be related to when it rains outside. Is there possibly a leak that rain water can collect into?

I have the same problem. 97' Plymouth Voyager about a liter of water runs out on the passenger side. I do not beleive it is related to the A/C in that it happens when it rains. Must be plugged drains but I don't know how to unplug them.

Were at on the passenger side? If its in the front floorboard, passengers side.the heater core may be leaking antifreeze. Also the a/c drain it also located in the same area.check your antifreeze,if not low, drive for a few miles with a/c on,stop on dry level place.there should be water dripping under passengers front.that is were the a/c drain is supposed to be.

This means your air conditioner drain tube is clogged. This will take about a hour shop rate to repair or if you look behind the glovebox you will see it. Thanks

SOURCE: water leak from passenger side

I believe if you take a close look at your windshield seal at the top corner of the drivers side, you'll see a gap. Please get back to me on this ASAP. The reason for the urgency is that this water can infiltrate the padding under the driverside kick panel sound insulator causing a major short.

SOURCE: water was leaking inside on passengers side, now

HVAC drain tube was blocked and condensation could not drain to the outside of the vehicle

as a result the water pooled inside the HVAC case leaking on the inside and killing your blower motor and probably blower motor resistor

clear the drain, replace the blower and resistor and you'll be back in business

Passenger side coolant leak

I'd have to see it in person to comment. The water pump is on the passenger side of the van.
A mechanic would fill the cooling system then pressure test it for leaks.

I have a 95 chevy beretta and after the rain i always have a puddle on the passenger side of the car, front and back. Why? and how can I fix this?

There is a known issue with the Berettas having a leak in the seam on the firewall. It also seems that where the harness come thru, the sealer crack and lets water in the floorboard as well. Also, there may be something holding open your fresh air intake open, letting water in. It is located on the passenger side, under the cowl. That's where mine was leaking. Hope this helps, if not, let me know, maybe i can help you figure it out.

My 2000 honda civic has a leak in either the tail light or trunk leaking into the passenger compartment on the drivers side

I am assuming the water comes in when it rains.
Could be the trunk gasket or the tail light.
You may need a body shop to find the leak.

Water inside the car on passenger side

The heater coil is leaking and needs replaced. They are usually located on the passenger side, in the dash, just beside the firewall. That is why there is water in the car.

My 2005 taurus has started getting a pool of water on the passenger side floorboard after a heavy rain, any ideas on how to fix, didn't see any leaks from windshield.

Look for moisture on the glass of the windshield, as well as the passenger side door, if thebottom seal isnt making contact on the door glass water will run in threw the door

2000 Grand Cherokee Dashboard leak

Maybe. If you have a fixed antenna on that side of the vehicle, the large rubber gromet on the wire leading into the passenger compartment may have come out, allowing lots of rain water to enter the vehicle. Happened on my 94 and flooded the passenger side.
