to be more specific, its a 1997 Sahara. i had the trans rebuilt in Jan of this year. everything worked correct when i picked it up and have had no complaints since. i went to throw it into 4x4 low to pull a post and heard nothing but clicking. it seems to be going into 4x4 high correctly and works well in 2wd too. any suggestions as to what it could be?

Abs clicks between 8klph and 3klph pedal pulses

When an abs system starts pulsing at low speeds when braking it is usually because the signal from one or more wheel speed sensors has become so low or disappeared altogether the system thinks the wheel has locked.

Loss of signal at low speed is often caused by corroded abs reluctor rings where they have lost tooth definition and reduced in diameter so the air gap has become too wide to produce an output at low speed.

I have 2003 RA Holden Rodeo 3.0 ltr T/Diesel. The 2 front wheels don't seem to be engaging when i put it into 4wd (high or low range). I can hear the high and low range click in when i press the buttons...

Does yours have AUTO hubs, there are some luxory models have auto hubs, these rely on difference in drive on the axles,(wheel spin) others have manual locking hubs, these actually need to be engaged manually, these require you to twist the centre of the hub to engage and disengage the front hubs, these sometimes require you to reverse to disengage properly, Rodeo had both depending on model. I have a 1997 Cutlass Supreme. The low trac light comes on when coming to a stop. Also, the front passenger side (near the wheel) makes a constant "crunching" and clicking sound. I'm thinking whee

Sounds like Wheel Hub Bearing & the internal Wheel
Speed Sensor as well, if that is the type hub you have

I would suspect some attention to the brakes may be in
order ,also. Have to strip them once a year to clean off rust
& lube things

Metal on metal sounding clicking noise while the wheels are turning but only on the frot driver and passenger wheels. What is going on? It started out only on the passenger side and then after the tire...

Is the noise a screeching high pitch or a growling low pitch?
It sounds to me that the CV joints might be bad and you need brakes.
high pitch would be the brake warning tabs
the low pitch would be the brake pads are gone and you are on the rotors gringing away metal

Why does my 1998 buick century low trac light come on and my front left side makes clicking noise?

front left wheel sensor is bad giving computer false information. replace and issue should go away.the clicking you hear is the the modulator trying to adjust the wheel speed.
