Question about 1992 Dodge Grand Caravan

1 Answer

Losing what seems like power from the engine

Driving a long dumb fat and happy at 50 mph. The van starts to slow down.
I put my foot down on the gas and the engine is sluggish to respond.Van does not want to maintan speed. I panic and thump on the peddle, the van doesnot seem to respond then, the van lurches and takes off.
Already changed fuel filter, plugs, air filter and check for vacuum leaks on hoses.
Have 180,000 miles on it. Checked the transmission fluid and it looks great.
Any ideas on what to change next ?
