Question about 2000 Daewoo Lanos
First off, you said door wont open. Will it not open from inside or outside as well? Usually it wont open from outside, but it will from inside or the opposite. Bump the door lightly inside or outside with hand, listen for rattle. If you hear a rattle, you have a loose lock rod in the door.
You can access lock assembly by carefully removing the inner door panel. After doing so you will find the locking assembly rods. You will more than likely find one out of place. Reinstall rod and reinstall panel, Done.

SOURCE: passanger door wont open!
The rod that connect the latch to the handle has become disconnected. the door panel needs to come off. You should see a rod hanging helplessly away from the actual latch mechanism. Using the point that the rod is still attached to as a center point... rotate the rod and look for the plastic connector for the rod to reconnect. This will be a small plastic part with a clip that secures the rod in the anchor point.
