1989 ford ranger fuse block diagram

The case for the fuse box shows what size fuses go where but it does not specify what they are for. I have replaced all the fuses. The only thing that doesn't work are my turn signals. Inside or out. Any suggestions?

The hazards on my truck work, inside and out, everything flashes, but the turn signals will not work. My grandfather and i think that it is beacuse of the turn signal relay, but we dont have the truck schematics. Can anyone tell me where exactly is the turn signal relay located?

Have you tried replacing the flasher?

It is a round unit, usually with a clear or smoke coloured plastic casing about 1 inch in diameter, usually in the fuse panel or very close to it.

Need picture to show me what is missing

Find a web site that has a fuse panel diagram there are some here but i've had better luck using google when you find the right year make and model download pdf file you want take it out to the car so if on desktop print them its usually a pic of the panel and a list. Each location is numbered and what its for with correct fuse size. when you are looking at the fuse box some empty spots have tabs of metal in them usually thats where a fuse goes they will be numbered slide in fuse between metal tab any size pair of needle nose pliers will help with this task. check your referance sheet 2 an 3 timers to ensure the right size fuse in the right spot..with that being said if you have a fuse that is blowing every time u can put in the next size up if its a 15 try a 20 if that blows go 25 ...i have not had to use any more then 10 amp over what it called for most of the time 5 more does it ..of course the dealer wont recommend this most shop will say its ok but any thing over 10 amps you should the electrical system look at by a reputable shop

What fused number uses for s430 fan blower

I don't know the current rating for the blower fuse, but there is probably a chart on the inside of the fuse box cover showing what size is used in each position. This chart is likely also found in the owner's manual. The original fuse should have the current rating stamped or molded into its case somewhere. Are you sure you've found the reason why the fuse blew? If not, you'll blow the new one also.

What number fuse for brake lights for 2001 ford ranger edge?

When you open the fuse panel there should be a fuse location map on the backside of the cover. The map shows the location and what system(s) the fuse protects. Find the one for your brake lights. Pull the fuse and replace it with the *exact* same amperage rating as specified on the location map (just in case it was replaced with an incorrect amp rating). There are two fuse panels in most cars. One is inside the vehicle usually located under the dash. These fuses are typically low amperage fuses. The second fuse/relay panel is located in the engine compartment. These are high amp fuses for things like the A/C compressor clutch, Anti-Lock brakes, fuel pump and other high draw systems. Check both places.

What happens if i put i bigger fuse in like 40a in there now and i put in a 50a

Fuses are sized according to the size of the wires they protect. When you put a bigger fuse in that what the wire is good for, you risk damaging components, melting wires, and even starting a fire!

I need to know where the fuel pump relay is and how to replace it

you did'nt specify what year, make, model of vehicle but will try anyway.fuel pump relays are usually found in the main engine fuse box under the hood.look for a black box either on driver or passenger side fenderwell of the car. open the box and look under the lid cover for fuse and relay locations.the relay should be a square black object about 2inches in size and simply plugs into the fuse box like a fuse.just pull upwards on the relay and it should just unplug, then install the new one in same place, just push it into the open fuel pump relay position.very simple to do. if you don't find a main fuse box, please repost your question with all the information on the vehicle as possible.thank you for choosing

1990 Toyota Camry Fuse box cover missing on driver's side

Chilton's Manual 1983-92 is almost useless.. says to check the covers. With that many items seeming to be electrical (& likely fuse) related, I think I'd buy a pack of fuses & replace all of the bad ones, & keep some spares around. ALTHOUGH... for the window defogger, environmental control sys., power door locks, power tailgate lock, sunroof & shoulder belt it DOES say to check the circuit breaker in the driver's side (or passenger side) kick panel with the fuses.
There is a reset hole (might try a pulled open paper clip... amazing how these can come in handy & how cheap these are! Not having a silly paper clip can be a real pain! Try keeping a few in the glove box! ) If it re-trips immediately. Use an ohm meter to check both terminals of the breaker. Chilton's says if not "as specified, replace the circuit breaker."

To change the breaker, turn the key off, disconnect the neg (-) battery cable, unlock the circuit breaker stopper, then pull it from the socket.replace (do same in reverse to re-install, making sure you have the same amp breaker as the one you pulled, if you need to replace it.)
*NOTE: I'd suggest checking a junk yard for a cover plate for your fuse box. It might save you a big hassle over a little thing on the road in the future. (Or at least keep the owner's manual in the dash) Having the cover on can keep moisture, dirt, etc. out of your fuse box, so I'd see if you can find one in a junk yard... just be sure same engine, year etc. (or if it fits & is a different config. of fuss, I'd copy the one (re-size if necessary) the schematic from the owner's manual, laminate it (a lot of copy shops can do this for you), the adhere it to the inside over the incorrect diagram. That way you'll know what fuse goes to what & there should be a puller tool & space for extra fuses in there (or yo can put them in the glove box.)
Best of luck & Ty for sharing where the actual schematic is & what fuses go where! Mine's out in the car & I'll have to book mark it, in case I ever need it!

Radiator cooling fan fuse location for Ford Taurus

The cooling fan on a ford car usually does not have a fuse. The cooling fans are controlled by a relay in the power distribution box inside the engine compartment. The box is usually located near the battery. Your owners manual should have a guide showing you what each relay in the box is for.
