I have a 2001 S Type 3.0 Jag with the listed prioblem below, what the required work needed to run correctly. For now it my only avenue of getting to work. Prioblems: 1. Engine Light on 2 During loical driving the car sall at a light when it idleing 3. Duning local driving, the car jerks when taking off. 4. Car very sluggish going up hills 5. Car jerking when press for more speek to enter the express way.

This sounds like your fuel pump is failing or has a plugged filter. Check the filter by removing and blowing through it. If it doesn't blow through like straw with slight resistance, replace it. Let me know.

How do I change gearbox oil

if its the zf auto box drain the fluid from the plug in the sump pan when empty refit plug remove level plug from rh side of gearbox. 8mm allen screw, yust above exhaust, refill with correct fluid through that hole,run engine get transmission oil temperature to between 50 - 70 degees C you need temp probe to do that or jag diagnostic gear or you can guess by feeling transmission sump pan. work the gearshift through all gears. then remove level plug allow to drain if level to high or top up if low, make sur you use the correct fluid, hope this helps

the problem you have is caused by the pats anti theft system is not recognising your key it may be the transponder or you may need a new key and get it programmed by a jag dealer or someone with the needed gear to do it with best advise take it to a jag dealer

Don't do it - they look ****. But if you have to - remove the bonnet badge and this is the position to drill the mounting hole. make sure you have the correct leaper as this will need to have a spring mounting for safety. good luck.

It could be the starter, but first check your battery if it does not have a full charge your starter is not getting enouf power to turn over the engine, If the battery is good then you need to replace the starter somtimes with the starter the problem could be intermitten, for further help feel free to call me at 4196891712 for 24/7 support.
