Look at some of the other posts about the main relay. The Accords are also having a problem, especially when they get hot.

I replaced the distributer (brain). The car started right up. I took it for a drive. It cut out on me 3 times when I drove about 22 miles. The first 2 times it cut off and engine light came on. It started back up. The 3rd time it cut off and nothing happended (no turnover or anything) for about 5 min. Then it started up.

I replaced the fuel pump in my 1992 Ford Tempo and it still won't start it cranks over but won't start any ideas ?

Are you getting fuel pressure from the pump to the fuel rail? You need to do a fuel pressure test to determine if there is actually a fuel supply to the fuel rail. Is the vehicle getting spark? Have you removed a plug wire and grounded it out while cranking the engine over to test for spark? How did you come to the conclusion the fuel pump was bad? Was the fuel filter changed as well?

Replaced alternator but car wont start?

There are only three items that enable an engine to run. It must have fuel, spark and air. I am sure that it is getting air. Check for spark next. Sounds like it is not getting fuel to me. Check that the fuel pump is running. On most GM vehicles you can hear the fuel pump run and whine a little prior to starting. Check the fuel pump relay also.

Ok i have a 1999 hyundai accent wont start changed fuel pump and it started ran very bad very! turned it off wouldnt start back up again checked spark plugs no spark and no power going to fuel pump we are...

Changing the pump doesn't affect the spark so lets start a that the beginning?? Why was the pump replaced and was it running fine before changing the pump? Also plugs could be fouled as well but if it was working fine before the fuel pump it will be fine afterwards if getting gas and the fuel pump was the problem., Also how did you verify no spark??

Car turns over great getting fuel and spark but wont start

Spark without fuel = just spark. :) Are you getting fuel movement? You could have a bad/clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump - could be a few things. Check to make sure you're getting fuel.
