Question about 1997 Ford Ranger SuperCab
I am having several problems with my truck minor however not so simple ( to me anyway ). To begin with, I need to know how I could get my heater core out of my dash board to replace it. Second of all I cant figure out how or even where my speedometer cable is to hook it up. And last but not least, I cant figure out what fuse if it is a fuse I need to change to fix my fuse guage. My truck by the way, is a 1997 ford ranger. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My 86 ranger heater core was behind the glove box, not to hard to replace, remove two hoses and access cover.
speedocable connects behind instrument panel and to the side of transmission. (electrical ones are easier, just a small component on the side of trans.)
i think you mean FUEL gauge? there is a sending unit inside the fuel tank (sometimes fuel level sending unit is combined with the fuel pump) buy yourself a Haynes manual #36071
