Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix

1 Answer

A/C not working to full capacity. Pulls on engine when on and at times does not come on until the car has run for ten minutes or so. Recently, the blower has become noisy, loud enough to hear from inside and outside the car. Definitely more power when A/C is off since problem started.

I had the same problem and you have to pull your glove box all the way down or take it off. Then you should be able to reach the trapt door located on top of the blower. With your car OFF, put your hand in there and you should pull out **** out of the blower as for the noise. Usually sucks **** out of your glove box into the blower fan. As for the A/C not working sometimes, still havn't figured it out cause mine is the same way. All I know is the compressor won't engage when that happens. If you find out anything, e-mail me at [email protected]. Thanx

Engine oil capacity for a 1998 mitsubishi triton perol v6 3000 4x4

Start with 3 quarts, run the engine for 3-4 minutes, then shut it off and let it cool.
Then check it again, and add oil in 1/2 quart increments until the dipstick shows full.
Or, look in the owner's manual!
Or call a Mitsubishi dealer, or ask any oil change service business.
God bless your efforts.

Lookfor a light on the dash that says SECURITY or ANTITHEFT. If you see this light, that is a sign of a failed or failing antitheft system, which will disable your vehicle. This link explains

Engine runs rough after about ten minutes /idles really low

Just trowing some suggestions out there, but, I would check the idle air control valve (solenoid) or the throttle position sensor. If they check out then my last guess would be the map sensor or the vaccuum to the map sensor. Hope I was able to help. Best wishes.

1997 Honda Odyssey thermostat

Honda recommends that the cooling system be topped up with coolant four times as part of the refill process. When the engine is fully cold open the radiator cap and add coolant until full. Run the car until fully warm with heater at maximum. Let it completely cool down. Remove radiator cap and top up with coolant. Repeat this process two more times. This helps purge the air out of the nooks and crannies in the cooling system.
