Question about 1990 Honda Civic
Well my distributor was skrewed so we put a new one in and a new cap.. the car ran good for about a week then blam just lost all its power and started blowing blue and idling erratically any ideas? is it possible i lost my timing?
COMPRESSION TEST FOR VALE AND RING LEAKAGE. MAKE SURE TO TEST ALL CYLINDERS. YES IT'S A GOOD POSSIBILITY THAT YOU LOST YOUR TIMING. NEED TO CHECK THE TIMING WITH A TIMING LIGHT.IF THE VEHICLE HAS 90,000 + ON THE MOTOR IT IS WELL PAST TIME TO DO THE TIMEING BELT ON IT BEFORE YOU BEND A VALVE OR PUNCH A HOLE IN YOU PISTON.
