I have a 2004 Mazda 3 w/ a single disc CD player...which has not been working for several months. There is a cd in the player but nothing happens when I press the eject button nor the CD button; won't eject, won't play. =( Hope there is a DIY solution...but any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

Possible that the cd disc has jammed due to a change in the disc- warming can bend some cd's, also if the cd is struck inside as the loading mechanism is struck. In both cases the set must be pulled out if there is no hope with trying to retrieve the cd softly assisting while ejecting. If you do not hear any noise while the eject is pressed then the loading drive is faulty , you need to remove the cd , open to check, If this is mechanical then you can softly push the cd out, if not the electonic section needs a check.

I have a 2007 crx 9 mazda i have a 6 disc Cd changer in dash. Ive had the car for almost 3 months. Put 1 cd in the player was working fine come ot it saying no disc. Im sure i left it there. It wont load...

Look in the Owner's Manual for the FUSES. Find the one for the CD changer - stereo - and remove it. ENSURE THE car is OFF and key is removed. You'll lose any radio presets! This should reset the CD changer and may allow the stuck CD to come out.

The single CD player on my 2004 Saab 9-3 linear plays fine but nothing happens when you push the eject button and the light on the CD is not on.

Unless you have 2 jammed in there, you will just have to replace the cd player part (they are separate from the radio.) With the cd player out of the dash you can tear into it (unscrew I mean) and retrieve your CD that is stuck.

Car CD player won't load Cd's - Peugeot 306

Yeah, the sensor that detects the presence of the disc is knackered - probably broken off. The eject will always eject the disc. Just press the button with no disc and you will hear it try. Look at ebay for a replacement - theyre dirt cheap!

CD -not working

Try this: Remove the negative battery terminal for 5 minutes. Reconnect the battery termional and see if the CD player "resets" itself. This sometimes works for me.

CD Player Quit Working

the only thing i can sagest is that you leave the battery disconnected over night this may reset the cd player and it may Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} Recognise that it has cds in it
the only other thing i can think of is that when it says enter single disk only that you do so to a point don't let it go all the way in
this may make the cd player think there is a disk in there
hope this helps
