I think it is the timing chain. It rattles a bit until oil has been thrown around to lubricate. You could also discuss with mechanic getter the timeing chain tensioners checked. This is an expensive path. You could also do and oil change, keep the level up and use quality oil. A guy in the Suzuki 4wd club (Australia) suggested Castrol Magnatec.

Clunking noise when turning wheel on my renault megane any ideas what this could be

I would take it in and get your CV joint checked. When they start going bad they make the noise you describe and you can sometimes feel a little catching or surging feeling when turning sharp. Your mechanic can inspect them from underneath and usually tell pretty quick if you have a problem.

I have an intermittent. my car does not start time to time. by pushing it the car start. it work fine for several day, and does it again . need help.

When it doesnt start, does it make a at least a clicking noise? Maybe a clunk? A loud clunk but the starter wont engage means the starter solenoids contact is bad. A click would indicate either a loose connection to the starter solenoid or a bad contact on the relay. No sound at all is a bit more complicated to trouble shoot.

My 1996 nissan sounds "clogged up" Once and awhile white smoke comes out of the muffler, but not consistent. When I first start it in the morning, it stalls about 3 to 4 times and then seems fine. ...

Sounds like water in the fuel system. White is water in the cylinders. Check the fuel filter and let me know. If its not this then I will advise further. Cheers
