Question about 1993 Audi 90
The anti-theft alarm keeps going off on my 1993 Audi 90. I pulled replaced the fuse to stop it. Wondering where the problem is and how to fix it. Is it a relay? Is it in the ignition system somewhere? Sometime I lose my headlights, heater fans, turn signals, etc and have to restart the car to get them to come back on.
Here is what I know:
You can not deactivate the alarm. There is no seperate fuse or relay for the alarm. You CAN pull back the siding on the inside of the left side of the trunk and you will find the horn for the alarm. A disconnected mine. I've heard that there is some battery for the alarm and that the alarm going off mysteriously is part of the system knowing that this batter is low. I have not found documenation to this affect, however.

I had the same problem with my 2001 audi a6 and just foung that if i left the windows cracked at all it would do it so make sure all your windows and sunroof are all the way closed see if that works if not then take it in to the dealer ship sounds like you might have quite an electrical problem.
