Have a 02 trail blazer .I replaced the battery, now it wont crank over. I reset the security light. Still no crank. All lights and guages work.Everything worked fine before. Any suggestions. Thanks, Matt

To begin with, you have to fix the problem then erase the trouble code in the computer to make the warning light stay off. Disconnecting the battery erased the memory of the computer, and it has to relearn the base settings for the sensors. Is the check engine light on now when the engine is running ?
If you left the security light on it probably killed your battery. You will need to jump start your vehicle or charge your battery as well as turn off your security light.
im just gonna take a stab in the dark here i understand that your security light is on try unlocking your door with your key sometimes you just need to reset the security. otherwise ive seen a security module go bad that may be preventing you from starting it.
Body Control Module (BCM) on both counts. Find a shop in your town that specializes in electrical systems to test it. Beware, these can be intermittent problems, so make sure they keep it until the car does what you have observed. Expect to spend about $450 for the replacment. Dealers quoted me between $700 and $1,100 for the same repair. By the way, a new BCM will probably only last you about 12 months.
First of all make sure all your battery connections are Clean and Tight. If they are and all your dash lights come on and its not starting But its cranking over Your anti theft alarm may have gotten activated. You may have to leave your Key in the On position for 20 minutes to reset the alarm. Not cranking just in the on position, Now if its not Cranking and your hearing a clicking sound it may be your starter. I have sometimes tapped on the stater with a deadblow hammer and had someone crank it over Making sure your in park foot on brake and being EXTREMLY Carefull that you are not going to run someone over.
