warning: disable the airbag system before attempting any steering wheel, steering column, or instrument panel component diagnosis or service. disconnect and isolate the battery negative (ground) cable, then wait two minutes for the airbag system capacitor to discharge before performing further diagnosis or service. this is the only sure way to disable the airbag system. failure to take the proper precautions could result in an accidental airbag deployment and possible personal injury or death.

Water pump location

Here are the procedures.

1. Drain cooling system. Remove timing belt. Remove right ignition coil. Disconnect coolant hose from coolant inlet housing.

2. Remove retaining bolts and separate coolant inlet housing and "O" ring from water pump. Remove retaining bolts/nuts and water pump. Remove "O" ring from coolant by-pass pipe which fits into rear of water pump.

Ensure sealing surfaces are clean. Install NEW "O" ring on coolant by-pass pipe. Lubricate "O" ring with soapy water solution.

2. Apply a .08-.12" (2.0-3.0 mm) diameter bead of sealant on mounting surface at rear of water pump. Install water pump. Ensuring water pump engages over coolant by-pass pipe. Tighten
fasteners to specification.

3. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure. Fill and bleed cooling system.

The light of License plat doesn't work. Who check or change the lights?

Is really easy;

1; remove the oil filter.
2; remove the tube where the oil filter gets screw, you will need a big deep socket I think is a 22mm
3 remove the two bolts that hold the cooler to the block
4 replace the rubber o ring for cooler and reinstall.
5 replace the metal o ring for the tube and reinstall.
6 install a new oil filter.

Left hand indicator does not cancel

the steering wheel and airbag assembly need to be removed, there is a small plastic ring over the shaft of the column that will have a boken nodule on it, it will need to be replaced, Disconnect the battery before removal but ensure you have the radio code and the know how to replace the airbag in the correct position. the indicator ring should only be about $10. Good luck and be safe

Land Rover Discovery I dashboard replacement.

There is a little more to it than that, but not a tough job if you have patience. You will need to remove both 'doors' on the dash-one glovebox, one fuse access panel. on US models, you will need to remove the pass side airbag as well, then 2 bolts that hold a set of relays under the airbag, then 5 bolts that hold a support bracket (also under the pass side airbag-behind glovebox.

Then under the dash at teh outside near the doors, remove 2 sets of 10mm bolts. after than remove 2 sets of 10mm bolts near where the bottom of the dash touches the tranny tunnel. obviously all the center console needs to be removed, and the center panel of the dash, as there are several sets of screws that hold that to the back of the dash.

be patient, take lots of photos of how it goes together, and where the wiring is(was), and this is pretty easy.

1998 bmw 740il blower motor where is it

The blower motors on this vehicle lis located underneath the dash. The upper half of the dashboard is removable and entails removing the spedometer cluster. The airbag also needs to be removed to get to some usually white triangular looking nuts that hold the wooden trim above the glovebox. Removal of the front side panels to the left and right of the windsheild is also required. If this helps; the blower motor is located right below the large center vent in the center of the dash.
