Question about 1988 Mazda 929
Check the fuel filter , if it got to much smudge , change it
if this did not work , unscrew the upper top part of the carburator and check the leveling pad may be it is worn out preventing the fuel from entering the chamber , or you could just unscrew the inlet fuel hose and tap the retun one and blow some air in it , if ther air does not flow smoothly then you need to chande the locking needle controlled by the leveling pad
