You have to replace the resistor that controls the fan speed. I have a 1990 camry and it happened to me before. The resistor is usually located under the glove compartment and held by one or two screws. If you can't find it, go to PEP Boys and get the Haynes manual for your model car...trust me, it's worth the money and you will find where it's located. Go to your Toyota dealer and buy the part..It should cost around 30 to 35 bucks. Replace and you'll be fine.

Ford F-350 blower only works on high?

It will either be the switch or the blower motor. You can test the switch with a volt meter at the blower motor conection and see if the voltage changes with the switch. I do not know what the actual voltage should be, but if you get nothing accept on high the its the switch. Otherwise look towards the blower.

The heater fan resistor has failed. This is the device that controls the voltage to the fan motor, on the 3 lower speds, The resistor is bypassed when HIGH is selected. It is located under the dash, passenger side, on the box between the heater fan blower housing and the main heater box at the center. Held in by 2 phillips screws. Easy to change.Hope this helps, and Thanks for choosing FixYa. Please feel free to comment back if you have any other questions.
