Every one I've seen is usually suction-cupped to the windshield over the center of the dashboard. It's easy to reach but not in your direct line of sight, so it won't obscure your forward visibility too much.

How to change motor mounts on 1998 ford escort 4 door sedan

The exact location varies depending on model, engine size, power and suchlike.

Most models have three mountings and there are no lower ones, though there could be a steady bar or torque reaction mount attached to the bottom of the transmission.

The power unit tends to be mounted with one mount high up on the extreme right and two on the transmission end, one at the back and one at the front.

Where do I find oil sending unit on a 2001 BMW 740il E 38.. My oil pressure i reading low pressure. But its full of oil..

Full oil does not mean that you have oil pressure.
The sending unit is located right by the oil filter mount.
It is very possible that you have a bad sending unit, gauge, or actually do have low oil pressure...best to have pressure checked by a good mechanic

96 deVille. Think the oil pressure sending unit is leaking. How do you remove. Mine is located above the AC pressure lines and I can't reach.

Hello: The oil pressure sending unit is located on the oil filter adapter, which is behind the lower front engine mount. It is best to get a deep oil pressure socket to do the task. Check with Advance Auto, Auto Zone, O'Reilly, or NAPA for the socket.

Do not know how to get timing belt cover off a 1994 2.3l ford ranger. All info I have found says you need to remove the power steering and air conditioner mounting bracket. I cannot determine where the...

I think you'll find that there are four bolts that fit from the side of the compressor into the bracket....You have to look at the unit from the side....If I recall correctly they're 12mm heads....When you've located them, don't do anything with either the low or high pressure lines which attach to the compressor....With the two pipes still connected swing the unit away and tie it so as not to let it get in your way....
If you intend to replace the timing belt, before you do, turn the engine by hand to the timing marks and high light them with tipex or any other white marker or correction fluid....It'll make the job easier for you...Cheers and best regards Johngee10

Whats the best way to get to the oil pressure sending unit on a 5.9 litre dodge ram

The oil pressure "sending unit" pump is located in the oil pan, in/at the bottom of the engine. It's not something I'd recommend trying if you've never attempted a lengthy or relatively difficult repair, without guidance. You don't indicate if you have 2wd of 4wd. However, in any event, you're going to have to remove the oil pan. It will most likely require you to loosen the motor mount(s) and jack/lift up the engine. Not necessarily the best way, but the easiest. I'd be concerned with engine wear also if the oil pump is bad. Which would require you to at least change the connecting rod and main bearings.

Where is the oil sending unit on 2000 blazer

The oil sender unit may be in one of two locations. First, and most popular is in the rear of the intake manifold near the center. The other location will be mounted on the oil filter mounting bracket. There should be a single black wire with a yellow stripe leading to either location. On some occasions there is also a solid black or green wire in addition. Thank you, Dana

My temperature gauge doesn't move, what could be the problem?

This is most likely caused by a faulty temperature sending unit. It is located under the hood, driver's side upper engine area, end of cylinder head and mounted below valve cover. Hope this helped and best wishes.

I cant locate the fuel filter on my 2005 1.5 petrol almera??? where is it???

the early models had the fuel filter mounted in the engine bay against the firewall. follow the fuel lines from the motor to the firewall. if there is no filter there then it is the late model and the filter is part of the fuel sender unit, this is mounted in the fuel tank and includes the fuel pump. this type is difficult to replace, and sometimes requires replacment of the entire sender unit.
Best way to tell is to call a nissan spare parts dept witn you VIN number and ask if this filter is replacable.

Where is the ignition control unit located?

The ignition control module on the Ford Ranger should be mounted either against the inner fender close to the radiator support, on the intake manifold, or on the distributor for some models that have a distributor ignition system. Hope this helped and best wishes.
