I’m no mechanic so don’t crucify me for this one and without question the best policy for a system like your airbags that save your skin of working properly and... well... don’t if they aren’t is have it checked professionally...BUT don’t most airbags when any automatic system such as occupancy sensors and the like cause warnings light telling you your airbag isn’t working ...go into a default mode which has as its default settings for the airbag to fire in the event of a crash ???or am I crazy ???i mean I know I heard this some where just don’t know if was a reputable somewhere(?) but honestly it would almost be a strong case of us as consumers thbtijnk the car manufacturers are trying to kill is little by letter buy creating a system that is absolutely essential in giving you the most survivable scenario in a serious crash and the turning around and allowing the system to go complied line permanently over a sensor going bad???kind of hard to believe but I truly don’t know just what I think I may have heard....somewhere
There is a problem detected with in the srs system(air bag circuit) that you need to have the code pulled to know what set the light.while the light is on you have no air bag system working as the computer to this system shuts it down until the light is out.this needs to be checked and repaired for your safety and anyone that rides with you.your insurance company may not cover you if this is not fixed(possibly),every company is different.
SOURCE: air bag light is on and the clock is flashing what
You have probably had your battery removed? Clock you can fix by setting the time. The airbag warning light indicates that ther's a problem with your airbag. Check if the co-drivers airbag is turned on. If the light is still on, take it to the shop to be checked.
