I have a 2001 1500HD w/ the 6.0 engine. I have a brand new alternator and belt. Every time I try to show a shop what it's doing it quits doing it right before I get to the shop. The battery and alternator both tested good but it wasn't acting up at that exact moment. I did not have this problem before I replaced the alternator.

When i'm in 4 wheel drive and the road is wet or icy my tires feel like they pull against each other or feel as if they are pointed towards each other when i accelerate. Also sometimes i get a shake at the same time. I do not have this problem in 4wd on dry roads or in 2wd and can not get a mechanic to drive it in bad weather to test the problem. Both front wheel bearings are new and have had an alignment done in the past few months. tread wear on the front tires looks normal. Any ideas would be greatly appricated.
