What do you mean "no fire on 1 side of injectors??" 1 injector no firing?? or what?? was the engine that you put in there used?? from junk yard?? If so, put the injectors back from your engine onto the engine you just put in there.

Well this system is pretty sophisticated. your injectors are beeing driven by the ECM (computer, but you also have inputs like crank and cam sensors and others to make the car run)So, did you also replace the ECM?? Do you have a noid light set?? If so, plug it into the injector connector one at a time and crank the car over and observe as to what happens. Post results. It also could be blown fuse for the ECM. You haven't pinched any wires replacing the engine by chance?? Does the "check engine light " come on when the key is in ACC position?? Let me know.

As far as the constant fire?? You will find 12V on one side of the connector. The other goes to the ECM to ground the circuit and make the injector fire ON/OFF like a relay. ECM is the ground side for this circuit. Let me know what you find.

I have a 2003 nissan altima and smell fule at ecslerashion

The smell of fuel at acceleration may be due to leaky fuel injector seals or other fuel system leak in the engine bay. Fuel leaks are nothing to play with. Have a certified mechanic examine your intake manifold and fuel rail for leaks, as a problem of this nature that is not repaired could lead to a vehicle fire and possibly death.

Won't start because it doesn't fire. Starter and alternator are fine...

the starter and alternator have nothing to do with fire. if the engine turns over but wont run, the stater, battery are ok. there are several things to check, spark to spark plugs? fuel pressure? fuel injector pulse? a shop will need to verify and recommend repairs

1998 nissian altima engine floods at random

gosh, nissan spent 6 million dollars replacing faulty/leaking fuel injectors around that time ...maybe its worth a trip down to the dealer and do a campaign/recall search on your car...might be a car that was covered under that campaign and you might get injectors covered

1996 Altima cranks, won't start

First, never use starting fluid on a gasoline engine. Check for dirty air filter, then check for Mass air flow sensor (Fault code) . This sensor controls fuel mapping, bad signal here will cause over fueling (black smoke) also called loading up (rich). Stopped up Air filter will affect Mass air flow. Perform OBD II test to prevent buying unneeded parts. Also delete stored codes.
