Have a 2004 jeep grand cherokee and when i push on the gas peddle it makes a knocking noise and the heater seems to have gone out at the same time

Heater 'gone out' = low coolant. Knocking noise = internal engine damage? Maybe low coolant = internal engine damage.

Town& country chrysler2005 cruise control stopped working. how to fix?

a cable could have knocked loose, a fuse could have blown if water knocked in the wrong spot. wiring could have to do with it or the little device that controls the peddle line could be messed up. your best bet is to take it to a mechanic that will look at it for you.

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango and after bleeding the brakes (after doing some brake work) we can't seem to get the peddle to stay hard. When taking it out for a drive the first time you press on the...

Bleed them again, and don't leave the bleeder open, every time the person lets up on the pedal. close on the way down and open and close next time etc. Your letting air back into the system. Don't let the master run dry.

My car is knocking when I push the gas peddle, what do I do?

There are two problems that can cause a car to knock. 1. are fuel mixture that is not proper for the car. Some cars require gas like E89 or E91 in order to operate normally. Read your owners manual. It will tell you what fuel you need. If it says you need E89 and you are using E87, then the knocking is normal and is not necesarily dangerous to the car, just a nucense. 2 Your car computer and/or your oxygen sensors may be faulty. Both of these devices tell the engine how rich or lean to burn the gas. If either of these are faulty, the engine may knock. A problem like this is usualy accompanied by a check engine light.

Loud rataling on passager side of engine

rattling on that side of the engine could be the harmonic balancer, check to see if the bolt that holds it on is tight. Sometimes the inside of the balancer will break and make a rattling noise.

I have a knock coming from the motor what could it be

HI there
I have read your report. The way you describe it sounds like your rod is knocking. If you every driver down the road and feel that gas peddle starts to vibrate then you fixing to blow a rod. sometimes the blow form the side of the motor and others blows straight down through the oil pan. just to let you. be careful and hope this info gets you on the right track.
thank you for writing to fix ya.
Best Regards Richard
