HI
WHEN IT WAS RUN HARD ???OVERNIGHT OR ANY TIME YOU START IT !!!
BUT WHEN IT IS NO ACCELERATION THE MOST CAUSE IS THE FUEL SYSTEM LIKE FUEL PUMP OR INJECTORS OR FILTER ..

PO-139 I had that sensor change 3 weeks ago and the check engine light came on again this morning. Thanks

Probably replaced a good sensor. This codes could be from a bad sensor, a vacuum leak, or an exhaust leak before the sensor.

My 2003 hyundia elentra is acting like its not getting fuel all the time it spits and sputters and the comes right back to full power I have change the fuel filter all ready and suggestions

Put a fuel pressure gauge on the motor
You can tie or tape the gauge to a wiper
or windshield & go for a ride
80% of the time, my guess is you have ignition
issues
Have you replaced the spark plugs every 3 years
Have you cleaned the MAF Sensor once a year
Have you changed the front oxygen sensors at 100,000
Have you back probed the tps sensor & looked for opens
Timing Belt checked, changed or never changed?
Exhaust Converter rattling or blocked

Hyundai Elantra 1999 timing issue

It's a '99 Elantra, have you ever replaced the timing belt? It is a belt not a chaing, so it is very much should have the belt changed. After 13 years if you haven't done the belt yet now appears to be the time to change. I have an '05 and we changed it over a year now.

Good luck!!

2004 hyundai elantra oxygen sensor

Your Elantra has more than one oxygen sensor. There is a pre-catalyst sensor and a post-catalyst sensor. Both can be found on the exhaust. You simply disconnect the sensor wire and remove the sensor plug with the proper size deep socket. Be sure you have the correct sensor for replacement.

Because of the heat involved with the exhaust, make sure the engine is cool before attempting to remove and replace the sensors. They may be tough to remove so a shot of WD-40 or 5-56 spray may need to soak into the threads to ease removal. When you replace the new sensors, a coating of anti-seize will be helpful for future removal.

Keep in mind that one malfunctioning sensor can send information that will set off codes on other sensors "downstream" or send codes from other emission controls on the engine.

Oxygen sensors are comonly blamed when not the cause. Is the code lean or rich mix .What you may have is a fuuel or ignition problem. When was the fuelfilter changed or does it need a tune up?Did you get bad fuel? These things all need to be considered.

have a mechanic check the timing on the car if its off you should know it will make a definite click ticking sound that increases with the rpm and also check the position of the coil on the camshaft!
