i have the same problem the car went into limp mode as they call it, i had it hooked up to a computer at the local garage as this is the only way to find the fault, it cold be anything from a sensor to a serious problem. unlucky for me there were 4 undocumented codes 06812, 06152, 06156, and 06156, the man at the garage told me that 1 of the undocumented codes could be the reason for the others, but only the renualt garage have access to these codes and the faults. if anyone can help me with this problem please help.

Driving along lights dimmed, instrument panel died, loss of power then engine cut out & wouldn't start. Starts with a jump but when i turn key to heat glow plug, instrument panel goes mad

I assume there's a problem with alternator. Check the grounding to engine, check continuity of a positive wire between alternator and battery. the energizing voltage should be checked as well. Might be the bad connection between battery and vehicle body grounding. Diesel cars are sensitive even in a little loss of connection and rust in the connection points.

there are a few things that can cause that there is a black box mounted near brake booster that controls the drive by wire system.the throttle body could be bad or there has been a lot of problems with the wiring harness. you should have the codes read before you go any farther.

try using locktite semi-removable. if this does'nt work then sounds like threads were cross threaded, and fix would be a helix coil thread repair. try the locktite first it should work

Hello! The Pedal Value Sensor (PVS), a device that sends gas pedal positioning to the Electronic Control Module (ECM) is the most likely intermittent component...It is located under the hood...Drivers side...Next to the brake booster...The Throttle cable connects to it...It has a 5 wire plug with the following wire colors...Brown/White...Violet/Yellow...Violet/Green...Brown/Yellow...And Blue/Brown...
Check the connector for loose, frayed, or broken wires...Radio Shack sells a product called DeOxit...Cost $15...It is a "no touch" electronic contact cleaner...Two spray cans...Pull connector and spray Cleaner into both female/male ends...Wait 10 seconds and re-connect...If the problem continues replace the sensor...

1260 code wont start

P1260 - This, basically is indicating that a theft has occurred, and the engine has been disabled. If the engine stalled, during travel, and the code was pulled after the stall, this will indicate the following:

1.A loss of power, or ground wire to the PCM
2.A Faulty PCM power relay
3.A Faulty EEC power diode
4.A Faulty VERF signal.

Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) communicates PCM through instrument cluster to enable or disable vehicle's engine. Within one second after engine start, PCM must receive an enable signal from instrument cluster or engine will be disabled. Along with enable signals, instrument cluster and PCM share messages that confirm security codes shared during initial installation. This shared security data makes instrument cluster and PCM a matched pair, so neither will operate in another vehicle. When system is functioning properly and ignition switch is turned to RUN or START position, THEFT indicator light will turn on for 3 seconds, then turn off. Vehicle will be enabled to start and run. If a problem exists in PATS, THEFT indicator light will stay on or flash continuously.

NOTE_ The best action is to clear the code, by using a diagnostic CPU. Plug the CPU into your in car port, under the dash. Follow the instruction on the CPU display to clear the code. if the engine dose not start after the code is cleared, this will indicate that there are some issues with the PCM, or PATS

You may want to check with factory recalls. There was a letter sent to 2007 owners about a computer upgrade to solve loss of sudden power along with some ABS issues.
