Not really much detail about what kind of vehicle you have or what motor But it sounds like you have condesation in the cap or the ignition wires are holding moisture. Start by replacing the distributer cap and rotor if this does not solve it then replace the ignition wires and this should solve your problem cap & rotor around $60 and wires are around $100

Bad fuel pump, stopped up fuel filter, mabey? First check for vacume leaks.... may try unplugging the throttle position sensor. Plug it right back in... just check the connection.

1989 Ford aerostar van sputters and stalls.

have you had the throttle cleaned? Sounds like your fuel pump may be getting hot and cutting out. Its possible it could be a faulty ignition module,but that usually just causes a no start not a suptter and stall.
