1998 dodge 5.2l intermitant spark no start just floods

Since you are smelling fuel and there is fuel pressure at the fuel rail, i would change the distributor cap and rotor button. If that fails to work make sure the wire clip on your coil is securely fastened to the coil. If it is and you still have intermittent spark, replace the coil itself. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I HAVE A 2001 MODEL WRX EJ20 WITH AN INTERMITANT SPARK FAULT,PROBLEM STARTS WITHIN APPROX 30 SECONDS AFTER START UP,FEELS LIKE A MISSFIRE,IF I TAKE ONE OF THE COILPACKS OUT YOU CAN SEE THE SPARK GET WEAKER...

From all the things you have said and done are you sure that it is spark related and not possibly fuel related. Change the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure.

Ran out of gas now its hard to start and intermitently missfires. 2004 f250 5.4L

You may have sucked all the sediment from the bottom of your tank into the fuel filter. Change the fuel filter, and try to keep fuel in it. It runs better that way.

Hi all, my 99 sub.350,300k,missfire #2

Have you checked the distr cap for cracks??

If plug is oily looking on brand new plug I would suspect worn rings, which would also explain the high PSI. (Motor job in the wind) Especially for 300K.

Camshaft To Crankshaft Position Correlation Fault is what p1345 means. if the problem isnt electrical I would imagine the timing chain could be stretched and the engine is out of time somehow

Volvo 960 intermitent rough running

sounds to me like you might need to change your fuel filter, i had an Isusu P'up a while back that had a pebble in the fule filter and when fuel would get flowing the pebble would be pushed up into fuel path when fuel stopped flowing pebble would fall so on and so forth, my recommendationis to change fuel filter first

Gas odor when at stops sign or parking in garage

I recently had the same problem. It turned out that the fuel regulator on the engine at the left side just above the intake manifold had an intermitent leak. The gas leaking was not always visible so I had the regulator changed and that solved the problem.
