I have a 06 toyota corrola and i need to changed the serpentine belt what tool am i going to need?

Use a 19mm box end wrench and twist at the tensioner pulley to loosen the belt, then just pull it out and replace it with the new belt. You shouldn't need any SST (special service tool). To check the fig please click on the link below:--- --------------- Look closely on the front of the engine there is the tensioner with a pulley on it, in order to remove the belt the tensioner has to be depressed with a 19mm prybar and socket, when the tensioner is depressed the belt can be taken off all the pulleys, before removing the belt draw a diagram of the belt location around all the pulleys otherwise you may have a problem getting the belt installed correctly. Thanks. keep updated for any more can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Is there a special tool needed to change the serpentine belt

There is a special tool for removing your serpentine belt. It is a long thin bar designed to get in those tight spots. Most auto parts stores have these bars. Good luck. please rate my answer as a fixya!

Serpentine belt

get a chilton's manual for your car is your best option. some toyotas have a tricky set up on them, that has a nut/bolt that makes the belt loosen up to remove it, and I honestly can't explain it here, you need to see the diagram for it, so get a manual or go by the dealer and ask them to show you where the adjuster is to remove the belt.
