Hi this could be a few things, providing it winds over it could be a dirty knock sensor or cam angle sensor both located at front of engine, it could also be a dodgy fuel pump not flowing fuel to injectors also another thing worth a look is the ignitor if your model is early 96 it might be stuffed and not firing the coils when its meant too, if it is not winding over at all try replacing the starter motor and checking charge in the battery

but if you have no fuel pressure it wont start. Spray some quick start. If it starts then you need to test for fuel pressure. If none or low, replace fuel pump.

Hard to start sometimes

check battery voltage ,
check battery terminals are tight
if these are both ok then start to look at the starter motor
