Well in American that's about 5 miles to the gallon. Some of our military tanks do better. I would take it to Honda immediately, you may have a fuel leak, or some other dangerous condition.
the sender unit in the tank ,i think it has petrol in the float so its not reading correct.with the filler neck and associated pipes then it no doubt holds nearer 15 gals or about 80 litres .I couldnt afford to buy this much petrol in one go as its just over 1 euro 20cents a litre here so that would cost me 90+ euros or if the exchange rate is right this morning thats a dollar a litre
drop gas tank! big job if you have never before how ever if you bang the tank from under with rubber or edge of fist//hand you will probably get it to fire up to go to shop good luck,regee
check for fuel pump hum by the gas tank with the key on, if no hum check fuses and relays (under the hood and dash) if they are good replace fuel pump. if you hear humming try replacing the fuel filter
This problem may be soved but it will take some work, You must drop the gas tank or have a mechanic do it for you and clean the tank out, and look inside to see if there is something inside of the tank,
they are designed wih presure need to be in tank when you fill the car with engine runnig the gas cap removal will cause the engine to stall especially one with a week fuel pump.
remove rear seat, remove round metal cover, disconnect fuel lines and wires from top of fuel pump, jack up rear of car. remove gas tank straps, lower gas tank with a jack, install is reverse.....if you need to just replace the fuel pump you don't have to remove tank you Can access from under rear seat good luck and please rate -jeff
