My dodge avenger will start up fine, you drive it down the road and it will quit, pullover to the side of the road and put it in neutral and it will start up again, why does it do that?

It is a relay problem, one of the ones one the drivers side firewall it is an auto shut down. I had the same problem, you can replace the relay and it should solve that problem. I think the relay is like $10.00 or so at autozone.

Why doe's a 2008 dodge avenger shug when it put in gear

I'm not certain what SHUG means. Can you offer a better description?

It is normal for there to be a slight bump when shifting from park to drive, especially when very cold. Something I do that helps is to shift from park to neutral and wait a few seconds before shifting to drive. That seems to ease the process of shifting to drive. Also, check the fluid when the engine is warm and idling in Park. If low, add only the necessary amount.

Why does my 93 Honda Accord run fine and then dies going down the road and will start again and die again?

There is a black fuel relay way up under the top left driver side dash that breaks its main wire solder connections on the circuit board under over-heat conditions. Resolder that relay. Starting fluid will show that you have lost fuel delivery under no start conditions. You can use the breather hose from the valve cover for this test.

TRANSMISSION QUIT WORKING WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD

Pull the trans dip stick and smell it. Does it smell burnt? Your tranny might have gone out. I had an Avenger that the tranny went out at about 60,000.

Starting fine, driving fine, but dies while going down the road

Next time disconnect the negative and not the positive if it ever happens again. This happened due to the PCM needing to be reset.
