The fuse blew. Check # 11 in the fuse panel, and replace it with a #20 standard fuse or higher. Also check to see that it is pushed in all the way.

SOURCE: air condition compressor won;t kick in

Most likely a loss of refrigerant ( freon ) in the system. The A/C compressor uses a low pressure switch as a SAFETY to insure it wont turn on without freon in the system. Hope this helps.

Check to see if you are getting voltage to the blower motor if you are the motor is bad if not check the fan speed switch. 1 2 3 or low medium high if you get voltage going to the switch but not from replace the switch if you have voltage from switch check the blower motor resistor the although with the blower resistor you commonly have a high fan speed in the max setting and the lower speed settings don't work wich would make you think 1 2 3 are not working but 4 is. That is why it is best to check all parts to make sure the part you do replace needed to be replaced

Ac won't get cold anymore power to compressor but won't click on clutch won't engage possible problems are compressor or evaporator what do you think?

Has the Freon been checked with a gauge to see if there is enough Freon to allow the system to work. Low or no Freon will not allow the compressor to engage. The low pressure switch is most likely activated due to low freon, and will cause this condition.

Sounds like your door frame switch is stuck in the off position. Look at the hinge side of the door frame, about half way down should be a spring loaded switch. You should be able to push it in and it should spring right back. It will look something like the head of a nail, extending out maybe 3/4" from a small tube like casing smaller than the diameter of a pencil. You might be able to pull it out manually if it is just sticking in the off position and clean it up with a little bit of WD40, very seldom do you need to replace the switch. Good Luck!
