Most likely yes. Put it in top gear at 30mph or so and floor the gas. If the revs rise but you don't accelerate as you should, the clutch is slipping and needs replacement.

Manual car. Over revving through all gears and very slow acceleration.

Sounds like the clutch is slipping. You can try and adjust it but most newer models dont have adjustments.

Why does the clutch slip intermittently on my Audi A4 2009 Diesel in high gears

Agreed. The clutch disk is likely worn. The pressure plate is self adjusting so there is no adjustment available on stock Audi pressure plates or indeed in most pressure plates.

Another possible cause is a leaking rear main engine seal that is allowing engine oil to seep and then be thrown around the bell housing and work its way onto the flywheel/clutch/pressure plate.

Test you clutch in 3-4 gear acceleration from a slow speed...if the engine speed flares faster than the car accelerates, you have a worn/bad clutch.

Is it normal for the revs to stay up when changing gear in a 2002 4x4 3.0L turbo diesel navara?

do they revs drop off when taking pressure off accelerator pedal when out of gear? if only staying high during gear change it would suggest a worn clutch friction/pressure plate so the engine isn't slowing down when clutch is depressed .I'd also have the OBD codes read to see if there is a sensor/switch at fault , but sounds like the clutch to me

1998 Honda accord manual transmission revs high, car barely accelerates. What would cause this problem? the clutch was replaced 2 years ago.

You know the clutch is slipping
& continue to drive & ruin that

Now you can do another clutch
service, while your finding the answer
to what your asking

Next car get an automatic & just change
the fluid every 3 years

My clutch is not returning back to normal it is half way and when i rev it goes hi and doesnt take off it goes slow

the clutch not returning all the way is a clutch master/slave cylinder problem. The high revving and not going normal speed, is a clutch slipping problem. try replacing the master and slave cylinder, bleed to lines, and see if that fixes it. If not..then its time to replace the clutch.

Have acceleration problem when passing

really need a bit more information.does the engine sound slow or is it revving quite high as you are trying to overtake another car?slow may be a blocked fuel filter and or air filter.revving but slow moving may be a slipping clutch if it is a manual gearbox,or a worn transmission if it is an automatic(although check the fluid level while idling in park, and handbrake on firmly.)
Hope this helps,if not if you can supply some more info, then I can be more precise in diagnosis and repair

My car keeps over revving very high and it wants to keep going when i am at a stop sign or slowing down while changing gear, when i am slowing down its starting to do bunny jumps i have no idea whats...

I think your accelerator linkages and cable could be sticking, Get some WD 40 or similar and spray all around the cables, linkages and shafts attached to the accelerator mechanisms having somebody exercising the pedal while you do so.

Car slipping in uphill acceleration is it my tires or something more is wrong with it?

Hi,
If the engine is revving but your not going forward then it sounds like your clutch is slipping if it is a manual, or the clutch packs are worn if it is an automatic transmission. Either way the clutch or transmission will need to be repaired or replaced. Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

Over-revving in 5th at 75mph all of a sudden

If the car rev'd up but did not speed up at the same time the clutch is starting to slip. Check the adjustment and recheck driving. When the clutch starts to wear this is how they act, only most people ignore whats happening and keep driving till adjustments won't fix it and the clutch has to be replaced. Have adjustment checked and keep an eye on it and hopefullty you won't need a clutch yet.

When the air conditioner is on, there is a loud revving sound that gets louder as we accelerate. It goes away totally if the ac is turned off. Could this be the tensioner?

Yes it could be the belt tentioner or you may want to check the front clutch asy on the a/c compressor.sometimes the clutch will squeal when it is trying to lock up.
