Open your hood look at your radiator, the top large diameter hose feeds the engine's cooling system this is where your thermostat housing will be located. The hose on the bottom is the return line

Okay, I am not sure. On some Barina's, if you follow the top radiator hose, the thermostat is at the end of it at the engine maybe with a plastic housing (which can crack). This was sold also as a Suzuki Swift. I can't promise anything about the links below but Here is an interesting video:
follow the radiator hoses 2 the motor normerly were the top hose connects 2 the motor is the thermostat housing.but on some japanese cars the thermostat can be on the bottom hose make sure motor is cooled down as there is a lot of heat&pressure in the cooling system
Hi, I don't have a picture, but trace the big hose from the bottom of the radiator to the engine, and it will be under the housing where the hose connects.
2.7L Engine
Disconnect negative cable.
CAUTION
Do not remove pressure cap with the system hot and under pressure because serious burns from coolant can occur.
Drain cooling system.
Remove radiator lower hose from thermostat housing.
Remove nuts from heater tube flange studs.
Loosen starter bolt at heater tube bracket.
Pull heater tube out of thermostat housing and position out of the way.
Remove bolt and two studs.
Remove thermostat housing, O-ring and thermostat.
Remove thermostat housing bolts.
To install:
Clean gasket sealing surfaces.
NOTE
Install thermostat with the bleed valve located at the 12 o'clock position, between tabs on seal.
Install thermostat and seal into thermostat housing .
If removed, install two studs.
Install thermostat, thermostat housing and O-ring and bolt. Tighten attaching bolts to 105 inch lbs.(12 Nm).
Lubricate new heater return tube O-ring with coolant.
Position heater return tube flange over two studs. Install nuts.
Tighten retaining nuts to 53 inch lbs.(6 Nm).
Tighten starter bolt to 40 ft. lbs. (54.3 Nm).
Connect the lower radiator hose to the thermostat housing. Install hose clamps.
The thermostat is located in the water inlet housing that is
connected to the lower radiator hose. The thermostat is equipped with a by-pass valve. If the engine tends
to overheat, removal of the thermostat would cause a decrease in cooling
system efficiency.
