Question about 2000 Toyota Camry Solara
Where and how do you get to the filter and change it. I believe it is in front of the master cylinder, bt I cannot see how to get the fuel line from the filter to the engine off.
If you are having no driveability issues, leave the fuel filter alone. Changing the filters is really a "thing of the past", as the fuel is reasonably clean these days; I have cut fuel filters open to see the level of contamination, I rarely find any. BUT: if you DO try this, expect to replace the line from the filter to the tank. More often than not, when the filter is installed, the threads are pulled really TIGHT, and when you remove the filter, the male threads on the fuel delivery line stay IN the female threads of the filter. Again, if your vehicle is running fine, the fuel filter is the LAST thing that I would fool with.
