There was another posting of this same issue on your site: By spartan13107 on Nov 15th 2010

They replaced the bulb twice & still had the same problem with brand new bulbs. I've already called to see how much the bulb is and it's a HID bulb $250.00 each. Are you sure this is still the best solution????? Please check your records for spartan13107 on Nov 15th 2010 & let me know their results. Thanks!!

You can replace the light bulbs by them self you don't have to buy the head light assembly, the bulbs are around $15 -$25 each depending on what type of bulb you want.

but i don't think your problem is the bulb. but it could be. remove the light assembly and then remove the light bulb covers on the back of the assembly and take a close look at the plug in on the back of the bulb and make sure they have not melted to the back of the light bulb. if they have you can get repair ends from toyota.

let me know if their is any thing else i can do for you.

REPLACE THE HEAD LIGHT BULB.AND CHECK HEAD LIGHT BULB SOCKET, IT COULD HAVE A LOOSEWIRE OR POOR GROUND.WEAR CLEAN PAIR OF RUBBER LATEX GLOVES WHEN REPLACING THE HEAD LIGHT BULBS BECAUSE THEY ARE HALOGEN MEANING IF YOU TOUCH WITH FINGERS OR HANDS WHICH HAS BODY OILS WILL CAUSE THE HALOGEN BULBS TO OVER HEAT AND BLOW OUT.INCASE YOU GET A LITTLE DIRT OR GREASE ON THE HALOGEN BULB YOU CAN WIPE OFF BULBS WITH A CLEAN PAPER TOWEL WITH A LITTLE RUBBING ALCOHOL ON PAPER TOWEL WIPE OFF THE BULBS.

WHEN A HEAD LIGHT TURNS ON THEN OFF BACK ON THE PROBLEM MORE LIKELY THE BULB SOCKET OR THE BULB IT SELF.

1999 toyota solara SLE will not start and run. Give a shot of ether and it runs on that for a few seconds. Is there a fuel pump relay that may be bad? Where is the relay? Could I have missed an actual...

It is more than likely the fuel pump. Sometimes you can bang a bit on the bottom of the fuel tank to get one to start for a minute or more. You can also listen to the fuel pump running by opening the fuel cap and listening there, while having someone turn on the ignition switch. You should hear a hum for a few seconds each time the Ign. is switched off & on.

Headlights stay on, ignition turned off

If you turn car off and remove key from ignition, th? headlights will stay on until you open the driver side door, its part of an auto on headlight system. you can leave your selector light switch on the headlight position or on the daylight lamp relay (DRL) position. and open the driver side door and the lights will go out and not stay on. so it saves running your battery down. That feature is only on SLE trim line on the Solara.

How do you change a bulb for the low beam on a toyota solara sle 2007

You lift up the bonnet ,you will see the wire coming to the back of the head light .what you have to do,you will see a plug connecting to the head light .You must unplug it,after having do it,now you will to take out an elastic cap it is with rubber and black, this for preventing water to go in the head light. After doing that you will find the bulb, the bulb is hold with a clips .You have to take out that clips, now the will be free to take it out.replace the bulb for new one,now do the same action to mount it,hope that clear your mind and fix the problem
