A word to the wide, spend the extra bucks for a genuine Honda fuel pump. I installed a brand X replacement, only to have to replace it after it failed a little more than a year later....that was 5 years ago, and the Honda pump is still running strong.

I've replaced mine. The scariest thing is sitting over 15 gallons of gasoline working with metal and wrenches. Make sure you do this in a well ventilated place. Also, I had to wiggle the new fuel pump assembly to fit right, not sure if I just got it in at a wrong angle but it did take me a few tries. Pretty easy repair though.

I just changed mine a 87 accord LX. Lay the back seat down, pull the carpet in the trunk to the front of the car. You should see 2 - 5 or 6 inch round acess covers remove the drivers side one. Be sure to check the fuse and that you have current at the pump. Ii will only have current for a sceond when the key switch is cycled.. Remove the six nuts holding the fuel pump and the gas line hose. Remove the whole unit, i went to advanced auto patrs and bought pump and a new sock filter, like 63.00. There is two small nuts holding the wires to the pump 1 Pos. 1 Neg make sure they go back right. The fuel pump came with a new piece of hose too.Lossen the clamp holding the pump and install new one. Was reallly a easy repair.

I have a2000 honda odyssey. The battery was recently replaced(3 weeks ago). The new battery was rechecked again and found Tobe fine. I was the starter told my difficulty starting could be the starter. The starter was found to be ok. my problem stating the car seems to be intermittent. Could this be due to the fuel pump? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
