Buy a new one after having it checked out off the truck if it doesn't work out of the truck. If it works out of the truck but not in the truck, check the starter harness.

Starter clicks when I hit starter button

Assuming that the battery is good (even new ones can be bad) it sounds like you have either a bad starter solenoid or bad starter.

I have a 93 honda accord want start bypass clutch switch an still no start main relay is good starter is good but want turn over by key

Check your starter fuse it could be blown. If it is good you will have to check to see if you are getting voltage from ignition switch to the small post on the starter. If you are getting voltage to small post of starter than the starter solenoid is most likely bad. If you here a single click at starter than most likely the starter can not rotate the engine which would indicate a bad ground at the starter or a bad starter. A starter can pass a bench test but not be strong enough to over come the compression of the engine. If you get a series of clicks than you are not getting enough battery voltage to the large post on the starter which would indicate a voltage drop at battery connections or bad battery.

Dead battery? or bad connections, or bad starter and or starter solenoid. A bad connection from the starter switch to the starter solenoid. Possible bad fuse to the starter switch.

Why 97 jeep grand cherokee wont start no click ?

Bad ignition switch,
Bad neutral safety switch
Bad starter relay.
Bad starter.

If you understand how relays work, you can remove the relay in the car and jump the switch pins together. If the starter motor turns the engine, you problem is the first 3. If not, its the starter itself.

How can you tell if your starter is goin bad

A bad starter will kill a battery real quick. If you can find a DC amp-meter compare it to factory specs, or similar car starters. A bad starter will make a grinding noise, or give false tries where the starter spins free without engaging the motor. Of course, a bad starter will not spin at all, just make sure the relay is working.

TURNING KEY TO START 2004 SATURN VUE. MUST TRY MULTIPLE TIMES IN ORDER FOR THE VEHICLE TO START. REPLACED THE BATTERY STILL HAVE PROBLEM. WHEN TAKEN TO AUTO REPAIR SHOP THEY CANNOT FIND PROBLEM..NEED HELP

you may have a bad starter relay, or bad starter colenoid, best solution, have starter relay checked, if good, replace starter, does it click when you try to start?but won't? clicking indicates bad battery connections, bad starter colenoid, or simply bad starter. sometimes it's better to replace the whole starter, considering how much it costs to check all the above. suggest that you have battery checked for free at autozone or advance automotive for free. if battery checks good, replace starter. if you accept my solution and it works, let me know via fixya.com and thank you for choosing fixya.com

2006 impala passlock cliking in starter

If the starter clicks but doesn't turn, then it's a bad starter solenoid or bad starter motor which will have to be replaced.
If a relay under the dash seems to be clicking, and the starter doesn't operate, it could be a bad relay.

2002 WRX won't start

Could be lack of current from the battery, corrosion on the terminals, bad ignition switch, bad neutral safety or clutch safety switch, bad solenoid, bad starter brushes, bad starter field, bad engine ground strap, or siezed engine.

For a quick check, turn the headlights on as you try to crank.

If they do not dim, then current never getting to starter field.
If no click as well, then not getting to starter solenoid.

If they dim but come back when you stop, then battery good and either starter or engine is bad.

If they dim and don't come back, then battery is bad.
