An easy way to find out what it is; it sounds like the starter if no lights dim during attempt at startup. locate your starter and give it a solid couple whacks with a rubber hammer or end of a screwdriver. Many times the armatures inside the starter will expand and catch preventing the motor to turn over. so just rap on the starter a few times, if that does the trick then its time for a new or rebuilt starter. hope that helps.

Yes...Your starter or solenoid is bad. Local Walmart or Jeep dealer ship will probably let you know. Diagnosing will be little or nothing. You will have a better idea of what it is.

Check battery voltage should be 12-12.6 if good check for loose connection if that checks out ok then you need a starter solenoid.

2004 Jeep Liberty. No Start. Does anyone have any ideas?

That is a whole lot of issues that needs an auto electrician and a pro grade scan tool computer. We have a pro electrician here @Jeff Armer and hopefully he will chime in. Sounds like a communication issue with BCM and ECM which I think is combined into a TIPM.

I have no dash lights in my 2006 jeep liberty renegade. I cant see a fuse for this. what else could it be

Most likely, you have a dial or switch to adjust the brightness of the dash lights. Make sure it is not turned all the way down. Also, on some Chrysler vehicles, you are also able to override (turn off) the overhead interior lights by turning it all the way down, so you can leave doors open without draining the battery. If that is not it, there is a fuse for your dash lights. Refer to your owner's manual for the fuse position in the fuse block, as well as the correct type of fuse and amperage rating.

2005 jeep liberty renegade, heater fan only works on setting #4.

It's a common problem with Jeeps. You need a new switch. For some reason they burn out and are dangerous. Could cause a fire.

2002 Jeep Liberty Renegade started car this morning very cold cold Car started rough now the engine is making a clicking noise

have you checked the oil it may be low on oil or you may have a bad cps(cam posistion sensor) so it is not exactly firing correctly you can go to auto zone and they will check the codes for free even if you dont see the check engine light on there will always be some type of codes stored. even codes that say no codes found. this will atleast give you a starting point.

Tried to start jeep liberty 2005 went and opened

Aside from the part about the remote, I would first check to make sure the battery has a solid 12volts in it and that the terminal connections are clean. After this, then check to see if operation has been restored. Jumping across a battery with bad connection often prevents the vehicle from starting. Also try closing the doors and then locking and unlocking drivers door with the key itself. This should re-set the security system

2004 Liberty will not start

the solution for your problem is your starter went out. the price for a used starter will run at about 50 to 100 dollars and for a new starter it will run at about 150 to 175 dollars.
