Question about 1994 Suzuki Swift

Open Question

New suzuki swift

Testing driving the new suzuki swift only 35km on the clock so really new. I noticed a carbon type smell that the dealer says will go in two weeks.
Some people say it is new car wax or plastic and that is not unusual.
What is your opinion?

If you are talking about the brake fluid reservoir, you need to use brake fluid. Not oil.

I got a 2008 Suzuki swift rs415, and haven't driven for a week. When we unlock the swift the tailgate door wont open ( its like its still locked. can I ask why and how to fix the problem

You may have to call a dealer .Their is a manual release I think its a law .However you may cut through the carpet on the inside of the door a small hole to fit a screw driver inside to turn the latch
The access point will be at the latch handle om the inside .

2006 Suzuki swift. Front shock absorbers, One replaced at 20k, now 2 need replacing at 50k. Why 3 at 50k.

Hi, The manufacturer recommends replacing those shocks at certain age, 10K=1 year. They anticipate that you drive the car the way! I recommend that ou have to go to ur service center and have the shock tested before replacing it, they have the tools and equipment to test those shocks. Either u pay for a brand new one or test it with a minimal charge of testing.
Hope that clears up everything!

I bought a brand new 2007 suzuki swift,it has only.2007 SWIFT

i would say its wear and tear, you can kill a clutch in a day if your hard on it,,,or it could take 150,000 miles,,suzuki will classify that as a wear and tear item,,they are really tight with that stuff,

My daughters 2003 Suzuki Swift is not shifting right when it is really cold outside. When it is warm it is not too bad. It is not engaging all the way. It is cold here now so it is doing it all the time.

I recently had the same problem with my 2000 Swift. After having the transmission rebuilt the mechanic said he had adjusted the clutch cable and instaled a different spring on the clutch to compensate for the cold making parts stiff. I haven't noticed the same problem since.

New Suzuki Swift smoke coming out of bonnet

A wet and dry compression test, and a cylinder leak down test will narrow down this issue.
It's not unusual for an engine to smoke slightly until it's warmed up, especially if the choke is set a little rich. With only 400 miles, the rings are certainly not yet completely worn in and are not sealing yet. Depending on the oil used, driving habits, the engine can not be expected to be completely broken in for at least a couple thousand and as much as 5k miles. I used synthetic oils from the start, and the rings didn't start to seal well for 7k miles. It still uses very little oil at 88k miles, although piston slap is now evident cold, and another o/haul is scheduled for this winter.
Does that make sense?
