Question about 1999 Ford Taurus
The code is a misfire of cylinder 3 usually a bad plug wire but could be a dirty or bad injector, or a bad spark plug . a compression check will tell you if you have bad valves or a problem in cylinder 3, if the plug wire plug or injector doesnt solve your problem if this was helpful please leave good feed back

Add injector cleaner. if your car has sat at allfor a little bit of time then more than likely your injector is a little sticky. just add the injector cleaner then fill the tank if problem doesnt go away the look into other things

Po303 is misfire on number 3 cylinder. It could be a bad spark plug or wire, maybe a loose plug wire, could be alot of things. injector problem drop of water in fuel that happened to hit that cylinder. but most likely a plug misfired. I would clear the code and see if it happens again. If so give care a tune up.

Have you tried new Spark Plugs? Also after removing the plugs.
Take a paper towel and roll it up so it is like a long thick pencil. Stick that down the hole the spark plus came out of. Just to clean the moisture out. Also blow some compressed air down the hole.
Make sure all the moisture is out. The put the plugs in.
When you wash you car. Be careful if you wash the engine.
Dont let water get in to the plug holes..
