STALLS WHEN STARTED UNLESS I PRESS GAS

the iac code has nothing to do with the maf . the maf is your mass air flow sensor and it is in the air tube going to the throttle body. the iac is your idle air control valve that is in the throttle body next to the throttle position sensor

Have you checked the wire that goes to the fuel tank. I have the same issue and I have to go and jiggle the wire going to the fuel tank. I'm going to take it to see about getting that fixed.

signs of a bad fuel pressure regulator. the vehicle runs rough, the engine will not start usually in the mornings. many times engine starts but stalls shortly after starting. a bad regulator can result in fouled plugs. black soot on plugs, blake smoke from tailpipe, running rough, stalling. you could have residue in fuel tank and need to change fuel filter again. have a very good day !!

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado. After I fill up the gas tank and start the truck the engine stalls unless I give it gas. After I drive the truck down the road it runs and starts fine.

You have sediment in your tank that gets losened and blocks your fuel line after you gas up. drain tank and clean and change both fuel filters and that should fix your problem

Change fuel filter to start with. It sounds like it could be partly clogged. If no change, change plugs and wires. I'm not sure what you mean by the "rumble strip" thing, unless it's shaking as a result of one cylinder not firing, and causing a shaking feeling. A dead plug or wire would also cause loss of power and stalling. Let me know what you find.

Engine would not accelerate, now wont start

Sounds like the fuel pump went. Check for power under the van at the gas tank for the fuel pump. You need 2 people to do this, the pump will only power up for 5 secs/key cycle unless the engine is running.

98 blazer ls stalls all the time

Sounds to me to be a ground issue. I don't know how much of a machanic you are, but i think its time to take the bull by the horns and maybe fix it yourself. What you need to do, and you may get alittle dirty in the process and it might take a while is find every ground wire and strap( and hot wires too) check to see if there broke, loose, dirty whatever, start at the back around gas tank and work yourself forward. If you half to go to the dealers parts dept. and get a diagram of all the ground straps and ground wires for your blazer they will print you one out. Just sounds to me they want to take your money and not fix the problem.

2000 gmc jimmy stalls when gas tank is on half or less

I had a problem just like that and what it was is that there is a fuel pick up on the fuel pump inside the gas tank. This came off the pump at some point and when it did the engine would stall out when ever I turned left or when I was on the breaks coming to a stop light, and this only happened if I had less than about 6 gallons of gas. I removed the tank and pulled out the pump and found the problem, I replaced it and have not had a problem since. Just to let you know the car was a 1992 Acura Vigor, but it sound like the same problem. I hope this helps.
