1971 Volkswagen Beetle. Blowing fuses

My 71 beetle is blowing the fuse between the battery and the regulator whenever we try to start it. It has a new regulator and the generator was also rebuilt. What could be causing this?

You have a wire shorted to the body of the car, the easiest way to fix this is to run a new wire, if the short persists the generator may be shorted. be sure to use the correct size wire for the new lead.

The fuse of my beetle keeps on blowing leaving my car to stop totally that is really dangerous. what could be possibly wrong? changed magnetic coil and crank sensor. i feel really bad now for my beetle

Your question seems strange to me

You replace a fuse one time only

If it blows a second time, you need to
in most case ,go to wiring diagrams
to see what could cause the fuse problem
in that circuit

Changing any part for no reason & I'm referring
to not testing it first, to see if it even failed or needs
to be replaced,makes no sense

Your feeling bad for a material thing,a piece of sheet metal !

Get to the real world & real issue

Have the car properly diagnosed by someone who actually
knows something about Beetles

Fuse number/location for air conditioning compressor 2000 beetle

View the attached website to see if your problem is in the fuse block that is under the hood immediately on top of the car's battery.

Also, the car's blower motor/climate control is controlled by the 25 amp fuse No. 25 in the fuse block located at the end of your dashboard.
