This happened to my sisters cavalier about a year ago. What you want to do is on the + side of the battery follow the red wire lead it should split in to 2 different wires a big wire and a small wire. The big wire should go down to starter and the small wire runs to a fuze box on the drivers side fender well behind the battery. Where the small wire conects to the fuzebox check that conection. On my sisters car it was broken there and would not allow power to get to the PCM, ECM and nothing worked. I hope this helps you out. If you have any questions let me no. goodluck, kyle

I was driving my lr2 and heard load beep then all instraments went dead on dash, radio and rir still work but when i stopped and put in park throtle stopped working and can not shift out of park.

It sounds like you have a dead battery or a total loss of power in the electrical system, this would be an issue that will require some special testing.

I have a 2013 Chevy Tahoe with an unexplained battery drain, what could it be? help please

You could have a parasitic drain. Something that is left on in the car and drains the battery. It could also be a corroded terminal on the battery where the alternator is not getting power to charge the battery . Clean the post and the connector of all deposits and install those felt washers under the terminals to impede further corrosion.

Driving

The problem original would have been the battery failure but if you had the jump start done incorrectly then the resultant power surge may have knocked out the cpu unit and that is why nothing works properly. Try having the cpu reset by a fault code reader and keep your fingers crossed. You may be lucky

About 6 months ago my battery went dead. One minute it started and then the engine was shut down and it wouldn't start again without a boost. We got a new battery and in 3 months it did the same thing. ...

You will need to test for a short in the car.

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5925550-dead_battery_troubleshooting . These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.
