Question about Chrysler Voyager

Open Question

I have just purchased a Chrysler Grand Voyager 2008. At speed (80 mph - driving in France) I have discovered that if there is any cross or head wind, there is the most infernal noise inside the cab. I you ever made a loud sound as a kid by blowing through a blade of grass and you add to that a little kid's toy trumpet, then you have some idea of the noise. Drop the speed and the noise become intermittent and disappears below 70mph. At times it seems to come from both sides of the car, above the dash - but it's impossible to be sure. All help most gratefully received before I brain someone!

2008 jeep wrangler hood problem

I just bought a 2008 jeep wrangler and my hood is lifting 2 to 3 inches off the frame when I'm driving on the highway in wind speeds over 15 to 20 mph. I've owned two jeep wranglers in the past and I've never had this problem but chrysler keeps telling me this is normal. What's normal about a hood that is lifting off the frame?

High pitch noise when excelarating past 75-80 mph, seems to be coming from where the dash meets the windshield. Becomes louder and more frequent when driving in really winding conditions. it goes away when...

Well how short a drive is it.........to get you to go nuts. Is it a high pitched whine? If so look to your right. Is the wife sitting there? If so. That's the problem. Going 75-80 in a 25mph school zone will cause that. And where is the speed limit 75-80 anyway.

It's the radio, btw, install an inline filter to filter out the alternator noise.

2003 Mercury Grand marquis utlimate edition Whistling noise coming from the rear and eerie annoying.

What speed?
In the trunk area?
Around the rear doors?
Only in crosswinds? Sometimes the antenna makes a whistle noise in cross winds at 50 plus mph.

Get a roll f 2 inch masking tape, and tape off areas one at a time and test drive.

Hi, 2possible suggestions that will help you, when dealing with a wind noise it is almost always visible in the affected area by seeing a redich resedue caused by entering dust particles,

you could also use''masking'' duckt tape to seal off all your suspect areas(starting with the r/h section of the windshield) then by trail and error systematically remove piece by piece of this tape untill your noise is located, then you can decide on what to do with the ''leak''
