Question about 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
I just replaced the fog light bulb on my 2008 Azera. I went under the car and removed two screws from the protective shield. I pulled down the shield and reached up and turned the fog light socket and pulled it out of the housing, remembering which side the wires were on and removed the old bulb (Don't touch the new bulb with your hand) and replaced it with the new bulb. The job took less then 15 minutes

You need to remove the main Headlamp housings, to get at the front fog lamps.(which is very easy, just 2 or 3 securing bolts)

Hi this is a bit of a hair raiser, first of all you need to turn the wheel all the way into the motor, left or right depending .
The plastic cover underneath is only held on by some screws and retainers take these out, the cover will be loose but won't come out, gently pry it away from the fender, reach behind and unscrew the bulb housing. Be warned there are two or three different bulbs on the market take yours out before heading off to your local spare parts dealer, it might save you the time of having to go again.

Take out the small screws that hold your turn signal/marker lights on. This will allow you to reach in and undo the three (if I remember right) 10mm nuts on the back of the fog housings that hold them in the bumper. Once they're removed, press on the back of the fog housing and the foglight assembly will pop out of the bumper. Then you can replace the bulbs.
What I did on my Z is something you might consider - while I had them out, I took them apart (just a couple screws and bolts, very easy). Open it up so that you have access to the glare guard - the cup that sits in front of the bulb. This blocks forward projection of the light, and instead bounces it onto the reflector to be spread very wide (but not far forward) in a fog beam pattern. I used pliers to physically break the guard off the housing, so that instead of a wide, shallow fog pattern, I had a forward-projecting driving beam. I also swapped the 35w OEM bulbs for 55w higher-output superwhite bulbs (this increase in power consumption is not enough to cause any risk to the wiring or fusing, by the way - it worked for years for me). Then put them back together and reinstall them - you'll find a drastically improved light pattern for night driving, and they're still low enough to the road to cut under most fog. Especially since I always felt that the Z headlights were pretty pathetic for output (at least until I installed HID lighting), this was a great mod to make to the car.

Park the Dodge Caliber on a flat paved or concrete surface. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the side opposite the headlight you are replacing. In other words, if you are replacing the left headlight, turn the wheel all the way to the right. Apply the parking brake and release the hood latch.

Open the hood and remove the electrical plug from the back of the fog light ballast below the headlight assembly.
Turn the fog lamp counterclockwise to unlock it from the fog light housing.
Insert the new fog lamp. Align the notches on the fog lamp housing with the tabs on the new bulb and turn the bulb clockwise to lock it into the housing.
Reconnect the fog lamp electrical plug.
